Many possibilities: The most common causes of a rash following surgery are either a reaction to a medication or to the skin prep used to sterilize the skin right before surgery. Common interventions include Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (pill or topical), an otc steroid cream, and/or discontinuing any new medication. Do not try this without checking with your doctor--they will want to help you sort this out.

i had a neuro-endocrine tumor removed from my appendix with appendectomy 6yrs ago, now doctors wondering if i have another one somewhere due to symptoms such as rash flushing etc am i more prone to getting more in my body because i had one previosly?

Call your surgeon: It may be infected.  Get in to see your surgeon as soon as possible.  Most likely it will not require further surgery, only wound care.

Few days: Laparoscopic surgery uses gas to see. Abdominal bloating resolves over a few days. Ileus also can cause bloating. Eat small amounts at first and drink more liquids. Warm heating pad can help a little.

just wondering if i can go back to work at my desk job after a week after appendectomy?

Usually Yes: Everyone has a different tolerance for pain and recovery. Usually for my patients that undergo laparoscopic appendectomy, they can return to work as soon as they can perform their job safely and up to the expectations of their employer. Usually this is between 3-14 days. My only restriction is no heavy lifting over 15lbs for 2 weeks.

Speak with your surgeon to see if he/she has any restrictions.

i want my appendix out so i know i will never get appendicitis. what can i do to get an appendectomy?

Don't worry: With out indication no surgeon will remove the appendix , because you are afraid , of getting appendicitis .  Every surgery has risk , and potential formation of adhesions , hernias etc. Some times non pathological reason to remove it is , when laparotomy is done for some other reason. Speak to your family doctor.

about to shower for the first time after my appendectomy. do put new bandages on the stitches (dissolvable)? it was laparascopic.

Follow the Rules: Customs vary quite a bit amongst surgeons with respect to how they advise their patients to care for wounds postop. I use "super glue" over absorbable suture w/o any dressing; my patients can shower the day after surgery.  If your surgeon made no mention of using a dressing after showering, you are probably "good-to-go", but it's no harm to ask his/her office. Good luck!

Evaluation: You need to be re evaluated to find the cause it could be adhesion ,so see your surgeon who did the surgery to find the cause so be treated.

Well you must have : You must have had symptoms of appendicitis. So ask the doctor what did the radiologist diagnose. And also what did the pathologist say. This is how you will know the final diagnosis
