i have a very small (it's not visible, you have to push down a bit to feel it) lump on the left side of my windpipe below my adams apple. causes?

Lymph node: This could be a lymph node. Usually lymph nodes become big due to infection and inflammation. If it remains or enlarges, please see a doctor. There are other causes also. Possibly this is a skin "furuncle " which is an infection of the hair follicle/root. Consult a physician if it doesn't go away or enlarges.

throat hurts (not sore throat). slightly push the adams apple area (but i'm female) i get pain in the back of my neck. presure when holding head down?

Orthopedic: this sounds like something affecting your cervical spine. Recommend an orthopedic consult (someone with special interest on the spine).

Not easy; surgery: I am not sure exactly what you're asking... Is it very prominent or actually too high in your neck?  Either way there is no easy fix and surgery would be required, which would be unlikely to be covered by insurance as it's for cosmetic reasons.  There is a way to trim the thyroid cartilage down to make it less prominent, but you will be left with a scar in the neck.  Good luck; not easy to fix.

Probably nothing but: Truly excessive force on the larynx (Adam's apple) can result in bruising or fracture of the laryngeal cartilage. This is usually from blunt force trauma. In severe cases, swelling or bleeding in the airway can result for which one should seek emergency treatment. With severe trauma laryngotracheal separation may occur where the voicebox disconnects from the windpipe resulting in asphyxiation.

Anatomy: 
Your Adams apple is the palpable part of your thyroid cartilage.  This is connected to you hyoid bone and the muscles of your lower pharynx.  When you move your neck the muscles change the location of your structures and this makes the Adams apple more prominent.

Thyroid cartilage: You should be able to feel the thyroid cartilage (adam's apple) and other parts of the larynx move with breathing or swallowing.

i have terrible acid reflux right now; less when i lay down. it goes from my chest to my adams apple, and hurts a lot. i've taken meds with no help. ?

Then U need an eval: Medical evaluation is very appropriate for you if your gerd-like symptoms don't respond appropriately to typical acid-blockers. Perhaps the drug you've taken is too weak, or you have alkaline (not acid) reflux, or esophageal dysmotility is present that mimics reflux, or you have eosinophilic esophagitis (kind of like an allergy in your gut), or you  hyper-secrete acid.  Get checked please.

Lump: Check in with your doctor. Lump in your neck could be your thyroid or a lymph node.
