i had cellulitis back in august 2019. since then my leg the area that was effected has turned reddish purple a discoloration. what can i do to fix this? i want my skin to go back to normal?

: Not uncommon to get lymphedema of a leg after a bout of cellulitis, especially if you’re overweight. May need to see a vein specialist for Dx, Rx

Maybe: Several possible causes. From circulation view maybe venous disease. Causes swelling, and purplish color for some patients, heavy, tired, aching, sometimes skin breakdown. 33 a bit young, but possible, esp if you're heavy or had blood clots in legs. To find out see Dr for ultrasound WITH REFLUX STUDIES. Treatment: elevation, elastic stockings, exercise, ?procedures to treat veins. Hope this helps.

i have what looks like bruising/discoloration behind my knee, but it's painless. it's a brown color, not purple/blue. what could be the cause?

Ecchymosis: This pigment could be due to breakdown products of red blood cells which stain the skin brownish yellow. Perhaps a tiny capillary or vein ruptured spontaneously and painlessly  in the area. This pigment usually fades away gradually over a few weeks. Your physician can advise you further if necessary.

May varicose veins: Those blue knobs can be varicose veins, which may indicate that you have venous insufficiency. Venous insufficiency causes legs to be swollen and if it lasts for long time you may develop a rash or an infection. However rash can be of many other reasons. See a doctor please.

Skin spots: These may be petechiae which are caused by leakage of blood from capillaries in the skin. These can be due to minor trauma, taking aspirin or Aleve, (naproxen) or, if multiple petechiae appear elsewhere or other bleeding occurs, from platelet disorders. In this case you should consult your physician or a hematologist. Hopefully your spots will resolve in several more days and no serious conditions are presen

Insect bites: Could be "bites" from any insect.  Typically, bedbugs leave 3 distinct bites in a row - called "breakfast/lunch/dinner bites." You should be concerned if the "bite" marks are progressing/enlarging - suggestive of an infection, allergic reaction, or bite with a "hemolytic" reaction (worse case scenario would be a "flesh-eating" bacterial infection).  If so, see  your doctor immediately.

Likely fine: As long as there is no pus or soreness.  Topical steroid cream may hasten the recovery.

i believe a spider bit my leg. it immediately swelled and god hard under the bite but has since loosened. now it is turning purple with a white tip.

Are you sure?: Did you see  and feel the spider attack? Did you take it where it could be identified? There are brown recluse spiders in TX but bites are rare. A dermatologist will help you.
