I believe a spider bit my leg. it immediately swelled and god hard under the bite but has since loosened. now it is turning purple with a white tip.

Are you sure?: Did you see and feel the spider attack? Did you take it where it could be identified? There are brown recluse spiders in TX but bites are rare. A dermatologist will help you.
