Not always...: A 'purple bump' inside the mouth could be a sign of HIV infection; however, there are multiple reasons to have a purplish bump in the oral cavity that have nothing to do with hiv/aids.  Sometimes local irritation from something as simple as biting the lip or inside of the cheek can cause a raised purplish area like a bruise on the skin.  If you are concerned about hiv, get an HIV test performed.

Harmless mucocele: Usually they're not a problem and will go away on their own. If concerned see your dentist for examination and surgical removal if needed. Also for a white line.

Exams: Although inside of your mouth and the lining of your vagina are mucous membrane, the problems you describe may be related, but probably are coincidental &amp; unrelated.  See your Dentist immediately about oral lesion...it's there 2 weeks to long.  See your OBGyn about tissue dryness.  Make both Drs. Aware of both problems so they can consult with each other.  Be proactive, call now for appointments.

Lesion in mouth: Hello,
It is somewhat difficult to answer this question without a picture but sounds like your a describing a venous lake.  This is a benign vascular lesions.  Other thoughts include a traumatic lesion (i.e. from biting the inside of the mouth) creating a pocket of trapped blood or a mole.  Prob best to have it evaluated.  Good luck.  Dr. Kosari.

See a dermatologist: Or an oral surgeon. Most commonly these are either oral fibromas or mucoceles, both lesions that result from trauma, such as biting. Mucoceles are just pockets of mucus, that sometimes respond to intralesional injections of a cortisone. Oral fibromas, also known as irritation fibromas are relatively easily removed. Needs an evaluation.

: Suggest that you get this area checked out by an oral surgeon, esp if it has been present for a while. Although it may be nothing serious, an evaluation and thorough exam of the oral cavity and neck should be performed to make certain that this is so.

Need STI screening: Unprotected oral sex (given or received i.e. fellatio or cunilingus) associated with unprotected sexual-genital intercourse with someone who may be an oral or genital carrier of a sexually transmitted infection, does place you at risk for a STI in your oropharynx and in your pelvis. Consult a Gyn or an Infectious Disease doctor who specializes in screening and treatment of STIs to seek answers.

Bruised feet: Maybe something else.  HFM disease typically has white or clear blisters.  Bruising suggests something else.    See your doctor again.   It maybe HSP (Henock schonlien  purpura) which causes bruising of the legs.   This condition lasts a few weeks and affects the kidneys and intestine as well.   The key is the distribution of the rash.  Legs only is HSP!
