i'm feeling a pulse under my eye on &off . its a strong pulse that just seems to come for a few minutes & goes again. is it something to worry about?

Sounds like  lid tic: Common reasons for an eyelid tic (myokymia) are stress, lack of sleep,  alcohol, too many stimulants (e.g., coffee, tea, cola, energy drinks/pills) and something locally irritating the eye, like dryness or allergy.  I suggest trying to modify the above factors, take a break from contact lenses if you use them, and use otc artificial tears or allergy drops.  If this doesn't help, see your eye md.

i have a constant pulse under one eye lower lid, in time with my heart beats for the past two weeks. you can clearly see it pumping. what should i do?

Lid irritation: More often than not this is related to eyelid irritation.  Use some artificial tears regularly, like 4 times a day and see how it does! if not better, see an ophthalmologist.

shaky hands, dizziness/feeling lightheaded. i can also feel a pulse under my eye and im craving ice and pure salt. what is this, and should i go to the er?

: Your symptoms and craving for ice are compatible with iron deficiency anemia. You may go to ED if the symptoms are severe. Drink enough water to stay hydrated. Take oral iron and multivitamin supplements. It would be prudent to see your doctor to evaluate excessive menstrual blood loss.

SVP: Spontaneous venous pulsation can be seen on the optic nerve head.  When present, it means that there is no elevated intracranial pressure.   Its absence has no meaning.

More Specific: If you are referring to pulsation of the lid it is usually due to stress, fatigue and caffeine intake (obicularis myokimia).  If you are referring to a pulsing in your vision that corresponds to yur heartbeat you are noticint spontaneous venous pulsations of the central retinal vein.  This is a normal phenomenon.

Temporal artery: The temporal artery (which is on both sides) is the terminal branch of the external carotid artery. It is easily felt just in front of the ear just above the zygomatic arch (arched bone along the temple).  This is normal.

Blood pressure : Hi Cynthia make sure your blood pressure is good and that you have a dilated eye exam as well as something called a visual field. You may also want o see a neurologist or neuroophthalmologist  to make sure all so well neurologically especially if your symptoms are becoming more frequent or bothersome.

Twitch : Sounds like your lower eyelid is twitching. This is typically due to either dry eyes, stress or lack of sleep.   The first can be addressed with otc artificial years. The latter two are obvious. If it continues, see you eye md.

i notice at night i will use my pulse ox and close my eyes and feel a strange anxious feeling and open my eyes and look at my pulse has dropped to the 60s, but as soon as i look at the pulse ox it will jump back up into the 70s. is this normal?

: Heart rate varying between 60-70 range is normal and it should not cause any symptom at all.
