thrombocytopenia affects your prothrombin time test on your lab results?

No.  Bleeding time.: In thrombocytopenia, both prothrombin time (pt) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT) are normal.  But bleeding time and platelet count are affected.  Bleeding time is prolonged and the platelet count is decreased.

pt inr my results were 0.93 is that in the normal?

Yes: But don't confuse "normal" with "therapeutic."  if you are on blood thinners, then the goal would be for the inr to go up.

my pt is 12.7 and pt inr is 1.0. a day before the test i took 2 low doze aspirin pills (81 each). how aspirin influenced the result and would it still be normal if i did not take aspirin which i do not take regularly. thanks?

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are not a cause for concern. Aspirin does not affect these tests.

dvt in arm back in october, found out i have factor v leiden, been put in xarelto 20 for life, clot gone completely, prothrombin time and conc test results:
control: 13.3 seconds
patient time: 14.1 seconds 
concentration: 92%
inr: 1.06

thoughts?

: The thrombosis has been controlled with the medication. Continue to monitor with your labs and PCP. If you notice swelling, the clot may have returned. Watch for changes and report to the PCP.

i just got an inr result of 1.0 on today's b/w. everything indicates this is normal, but the lab issued notes about increased risk of thrombosis, and numbers in ranges of 2-3, and 2.5-3.5. is a 1.0 normal? thank you for answering my question?

: Yes 1.0 is normal for individuals not on anticoagulation, commonly Coumadin. The range of 2-3 is provided as the goal for patients on anticoagulation.

which herpes virus do i have? 1 or 2 and can this be diagnosed through a pap

Positive for herpes: A pap smear itself is not an accurate test for herpes. But apparently your doctor took a culture test for herpes simplex virus (HSV), at the same time s/he did the pap smear. Did you have blisters or sores? You have genital herpes, but can't tell which type, HSV1 or HSV2. The lab can do more testing to tell which one. Contact your doctor and make sure they do that; it's important to know the type.

I care.: I would be happy to interpret your lab results for you, but I need to know why you went to see your doctor. Lab results by themselves will not allow me to successfully diagnose you. I need to ask you questions and take a history regarding your chief complaint first. I would also like to know if you have any chronic medical problems.

Numbers are just...: Numbers are just numbers. Without details and the whole picture, such as why was labwork done, numbers cannot tell much. The result value in this question, is an "elevated" pH level. That just means BASIC, the opposite of ACIDIC. A pH of 7.0 is neutral, and is the pH of plain water. If this has no meaning to you, this is exactly the point. There is no meaning without the whole picture.

Depends: Alkaline phosphatase can be from liver, bone and intestine. The first step is to figure out which fraction is elevated. That will give clues for the next step. Sometimes, this can be familial, and no cause is found. But some work-up should be done.
