Extra beats: A PVC is the abbreviation for premature ventricular complex, psvc in this context would imply a premature supraventricular complex, more typically called a pac- premature atrial complex. Both are types of early beats.     This is a relatively uncommon notation in a report.  I suspect the number behind the abbreviation is the number of complexes during the test.   Both numbers are low.

: It means you are having lots of extra beats that are not all the same.

Diastolic dysfunction usually means your heart is not relaxing fast enough during diastole. This is most likely related to a stiff ventricle from long standing high blood pressure.  If you have EVER had a low blood potassium ask to be tested for primary Aldosteronism AKA Conn’s Syndrome.

my heart reports say i have mild mitral regurgitation & trace tricuspid regurgitation. other specified cardiac arrhythmia  svt. psvc as well. what could all of this mean? i dont see the electrophysiologist until a month from now?

: The echo these days is so good it can detect a trace of regurg that is so common some cal it normal.  Discuss the heart beat problems with your Dr.

today was last dose of efxr 12.5 mg been on citalop for 2 months (jan 10 mg) and (feb 20 mg). i want off this too. if i go to 10mg tomor bad w/d? a dr please give me a plan! psyc won't see me tip next wk!

Stay on meds: It can be dangerous to reduce and stop these meds too quickly. Stay on the 20mg of citalopram until you see your psyc next week.
