SSRI's failed: So one SSRI may work when another does not. Keep trying. There is a new one called Brintillex which has much greater effectiveness in the reported studies. 
Also a Selegeline patch may prove effective.

Medication se: Yes.  It can take a few weeks (even up to6) for patients to get used to any medication.  If you suffer from side effects, please follow up with your prescriber to discuss them.  They can help to determine if the symptoms are indeed from the medication, are expected or otherwise.
