i want to quit the pill i'm 21 and its causing me vaginal issues. i need  to balance my hormones i suffer from cramps. should i use progesterone drops?

A real balancing act: The oral contraceptive pill is made up of synthetic estrogen and a progesterone compound. Because the pill suppresses the pituitary to prevent ovulation, your "natural" hormones are not secreted. To "balance" your hormones, all you need to do is stop the pill and not add anything else and if your vaginal issues don't resolve see a GYN MD.

ttc. my doctor prescribed me vitex for mild pcos along with progesterone drops. what does vitex do exactly. all i have read is regarding pms symptoms.

"Vitex agnus-castus, also called vitex, chaste tree ... long believed to be an anaphrodisiac but its effectiveness remains controversial..modern uses include premenstrual syndrome,  uterine  disorders and mastodynia". how long can a transfer blastocyst day 5 survive in the uterus? what if it partially implants but progesterone level drops and then rises the next day

Progesterone: Progesterone levels fluctuate from day to day and hour to hour until pregnancy is well established - weeks from now. Do not panic about an individual level, what matters to the baby is more-or-less an "average" Progesterone exposure. If you are worried about your progesterone, please discuss these worries with your ivf doctor, he/she is the only one who can make changes if they are needed.

6 week progesterone was 26.1 then at 7 it dropped to 22.5 what does that mean  with such a big drop?  my hcg got a lot higher 502/6684.

Probably normal: In this instance i would follow the HCG levels which are elevating nicely. Progesterone levels during pregnancy usually are 25 or higher but this depends upon the lab reference for each laboratory. If you or your doctor are concerned, Progesterone supplementation can be started.

can missing a few doses of progesterone cause my levels to drop a couple numbers? hcg has risen from 1960 to greater than 15,000. progesterone went from 21 to 15. also, how many weeks does that make baby?

: A drop in progesterone can occur at 5-8 weeks gestation, which may cause some bleeding, and progesterone may be indicated to prevent miscarriage if the drop is caused by inadequate production by the placenta.  The HCG level given would predict a normally growing pregnancy, but if bleeding occurs, see your OB provider to determine if progesterone may be still necessary.

on liquid progesterone w/ varying #s of drops 2x daily. told can mix w/ juice, what types of juice are best? also take inositol powder mixed w/ juice 2x daily, can i take those together in same glass?

Probably : Apple juice as is not as acidic as orange or other citric juices. Yes you can mix them in the same glass.

No cause: There's no reason for Progesterone to drop following et, but levels definitely will fluctuate. As long as they are within a (pretty wide) range, they are okay. In most et cycles, supplemental Progesterone is given - you don't say in yours. The dosing is adjusted to keep the levels in range.

Depends: Depends on the initial level of  progesterone. Once Progesterone starts to decline it can take a few days before the start of the period.

Miscarriage: The progesterone was low because you miscarried. Low progesterone was not the cause. Talk with your doctor about taking prometrium (micronized progesterone) in the future.

Yes: The Progesterone will drop several days before the period. This drop is what causes the uterine lining shed and for your period to come on.
