A real balancing act: The oral contraceptive pill is made up of synthetic estrogen and a progesterone compound. Because the pill suppresses the pituitary to prevent ovulation, your "natural" hormones are not secreted. To "balance" your hormones, all you need to do is stop the pill and not add anything else and if your vaginal issues don't resolve see a GYN MD.
