No: First, have your dentist double check the bite. Secondly, if your tooth was crowned because of a crack, it might be possible that the crack had already caused irreversible nerve damage. Sometimes a crown alone won't solve the problem of a cracked tooth and root canal treatment is then needed to get rid of any uncomfortable symptoms.

Thorough dental exam: These situations can be difficult to figure out. Careful clinical and radiological exam will hopefully help you find out if it's a cracked tooth or a necrosing pulp or something else altogether. If the pain is gone for months at a time, it may be dental pain of non-dental origin, meaning referred from a non-dental cause. More detective work required!

if i put a lot of pressure on my tooth, is it possible for the pressure that i put on the tooth to move the tooth ? how long would it take for the tooth to move back to its original position by itself ?

You can move it: What you are asking is can you do what an orthodontist does?  The answer is that s tooth can be moved into an existing space, but the pressure needs to be continuous  for a number of days and not even stopping for a minute.  That means you'd have to stick something in your mouth to do it.  If it is done wrong, it can cause the tooth to be knocked out or damaged.  Don't do it yourself.

May be nothing: There may be nothing wrong.  During an extraction there is some pressure place on the adjacent teeth  and sometimes they can be a bit tender afterwards.   There is healing going on in the bone and the tissues where you had you tooth removed.  If you have any concerns about healing pain call the extracting dentist.  They know the situation best.

Visit a Dentist: IF there is pain associated with the pressure then it could indicate an abscessed tooth.  An x-ray of the tooth will help the dentist determine what the tooth will need and also check to see if the tooth is loose.

Sore tooth: This cannot be accurately diagnosed with a clinical examination and x-rays.
That being said, one possibility is an unrestored deep cavity or infection. Another is a fractured tooth or filling.
Call your dentist for an examination.

Fx or infection: May be fracture or recurrent infection (If upper back tooth may be from sinus problem).  See your Dentist when the discomfort is active, not after it goes away.

can an abcessed tooth lead to pressure in the head?

Accepted Answer

Yes: An abscess is fluid and pus that is building up in a confined space. By definition, an abscess causes pressure. Sometimes the fluid finds the path of least resistance and drains out of the abscess, at which point the pressure will diminish. But drainage doesn't indicate that the problem is solved. You should see a dentist or physician to resolve this abscess for you.
