A member asked:

If i put a lot of pressure on my tooth, is it possible for the pressure that i put on the tooth to move the tooth ? how long would it take for the tooth to move back to its original position by itself ?

You can move it: What you are asking is can you do what an orthodontist does? The answer is that s tooth can be moved into an existing space, but the pressure needs to be continuous for a number of days and not even stopping for a minute. That means you'd have to stick something in your mouth to do it. If it is done wrong, it can cause the tooth to be knocked out or damaged. Don't do it yourself.

Yes: You can move a tooth by either light continuous force (such as a pernicious habit) or by heavy intermittent force (such as trauma). If the tooth has moved out of position the underlying bone/connective tissues may be damaged, or the root of the tooth may be fractured. Tooth will have to be moved back into position, usually will not self correct. See an Orthodontist.

Yes: Teeth will move to pressure and may not return to its original position. If you discontinue putting pressure on that tooth, the tooth will return to where it is most stable.
