Possible infection: Could be traumatic injury, abscess, fracture, sinus (if upper posterior), traumatic occlusion, malocclusion, gum infection, or,other problem. You have to be examined, and perhaps Xrayed, to properly diagnose your problem and then decide on an appropriate course of treatment. Please call your Dentis ASAP.

Contact DDS: See your dentist and rule out all variables, ie- fracture, periodontal disease and decay. If everything checks out normal, the other variables include sinusitis and idiopathic etiology. Have the dentist radiograph the area and do a complete clinical examination.
