recently had to have emergency surgery for appendix removed.  what is the recovery time, and how long are the lift limitations?  also could the surgery have caused a bladder infection to create some un-comfort/pressure when urinating?

Surgery recovery : Usually post appendectomy instructions are for light lifting and diminished exercise for several weeks following discharge from the hospital. Check with your surgeon to see what he/she prefers, as not every surgeon will say the same.

i have a sharp pain between my ribs and hip bone on the right side . i have been feeling nausea , i had my gall bladder and appendix removed a year ago?

Might be a kidney: Or ureteral stone. Have your doctor examine you, check urine and possible kidney xray or ivp.

Many causes: Right sided groin pain can result from many conditions, including bone/joint problems, other intestinal problems (besides the appendix), like diverticulitis, genitourinary (reproductive and urinary tracts) like epidymitis (inflammation of structures surrounding the testicle), or bruising to the muscle/tendons.  Each of these need further evaluation by your physician.

i have sudden upper left ab pain and pressure. no gall bladder or appendix. some nausea. pain is severe. should i be concerned? just moved no dr yet.

: The appendix is a vestigial organ.  Once removed there will be no adverse side effects.

i have to have your appendix removed if you have minor appendicitis? what do i do?

Antibiotics: appendicitis comes in various forms where a mild 
inflammatory process can occur or performation and abscess develop.  If symptoms are mild and the WBC not  too high, conservative treatment can be employed using antiboitics.  If there is resolution then any appendectomy can be put off.

it hurts to go to bathroom after appendix removed?

Infection: If it hurts to urinate, it could mean bladder or urinary tract infection.  If it hurts to defecate, it could be anal fissure or hemorrhoids.  Assuming that it is urinary pain, you need a urine test for infection.  It could also be just irritation from catheterization of urethra during your surgery, but the only way to know for sure is to get a urine test.

its been 6 days since i had my appendix removed and two cysts? can i smoke weed now?

Accepted Answer

: It is not a good idea to smoke cigarettes or marijuana while you are recovering from surgery as this could affect your healing ability. Smoking also adversely affects your health in general but especially puts you at risk for lung side effects like asthma, COPD (emphysema/chronic bronchitis), lung cancer, etc. These diseases can ultimately shorten your life expectancy. its been 2 weeks since i had my appendix removed. am i able to smoke weed after those 2 weeks?

: The surgeon who removed your appendix is the best doctor to answer this question since that doctor knows the type of procedure done, what your clinical course has been, the meds you are now taking, how you are healing, etc. All of these factors would need to be considered before advising you on this. So, call your surgeon to find out if marijuana is safe for you at this time. Good luck!
