Hernias can do a lot: The "posterior cutaneous nerve" I think is AKA posterior division of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve (LFCN).  LFCN problems mess up feeling in the front, outside of the thigh. Symptoms usu. happen with seat belt inj.,  bone grafts and diabetes. 
There are many weird hernias in the pelvis so it seems possible to compromise the LFCN but in 30 yrs of reading CT and MRI, I've not seen it.

EMG can be helpful: The femoral nerve is formed from L2, L3 and L4 nerves that come out of lumbar spine.

Pain in the thigh can come from lumbar spine even though you may not have back or hip pain. 
EMG can help determine in a peripheral nerve  or lumbar nerve is irritated.

See your physician: I suggest you ask your surgeon.  He is going to be able to give you the best answer.  However, it is not uncommon to have continued nerve pain after foraminotomy.  It usually lasts days to weeks.  As long as you don't develop new symptoms such as weakness, increasing numbness or new pain, the problem should resolve on its own without need for further surgery.

Call your surgeon: Call your surgeon today if you have a question. Even if its not during normal work hours, someone will be covering. In general, wounds should be kept dry until they are not oozing fluid, then it is ok to shower - usually 24-48 hours. Activity as tolerated.  Obviously it depends on the incision location regarding any special instructions. Hope this helps.

Unlikely: What you described is an unlikely situation. What is causing the swelling of cecum? It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you.

i had complex aneurysm surgery in june.  have femoral neuralgia from angiograms.  constant pain in groin, and thigh.  what can i do to heal it?

Few options: First, make sure you don't have anything serious going on with your blood vessels or hip joint that needs treatment.  If you've had some nerve damage from procedures there are different medications that can help, such as gabapentin, which is a commonly used nerve pain medicine. There are also topical medicine options.  You may be best off seeing a pain specialist.
