God knows.: No one can tell you this. There are co-illness that can decrease your life expectancy but no absolute number. Need to exersise and have a great medical and nutritional status. Need to stay off the tobacco and use your heart and lung meds.

"end stage": You are using the term, "End-stage". That means what it says. No one is going to give you an exact time. The doctor closest to the person who is ill would be in the best position to tell you if you can expect hours, days, weeks or months. Even the attending doctor is often wrong because each case is different and no one has divine insight.

Good prognosis: If his left ventricular function is normal and if he follows the instructions of his doctors (no smoking, statin, dual anti-platelet therapy, blood pressure control, good diet, exercise), he can live a normal life expectancy and pass on at home in his sleep at a very advanced age.

Depends: It is hard to say depending on how well control his diabetes, what type of lung cancer ( there's two major types of lung cancer: small cell and non-small cell) and how serious of heart attack. You should speak to his oncologist.

Heart attack is caused when there is an imbalance in oxygen supply and oxygen demand of heart muscle. The supply being limited by plaque in the arteries.

Depends on a...: It depends on a number of factors.   First, what you have is called ischemic cardiomyopathy.   In this disease, patients lose functioning heart muscle cells because of the loss of blood flow.  If your coronary arteries were stented or bypassed, some of your heart muscle may have regained flow.   If not, you should see a cardiologist to determine how much muscle may recover if a procedure is done.

No: One time or occasional use of pain relief, especially if it was acetaminophen would not increase the risk of heart attack.

Coma: Obtain physician opinion on chances of recovery and also consider your dads wishes in account whether he wants to be on life support or not. Basing on that you and your family decide. If there is reasonable chance of recovery with good functional status then it is wise to wait and see.
