No: Heart attack is caused by plaque build up in coronary arteries of the heart. No study has ever conclusively shown stress or loss to be tied to heart attack. It is a common misconception. Heart attack is caused when there is an imbalance in oxygen supply and oxygen demand of heart muscle. The supply being limited by plaque in the arteries.
