What difference...: does it make. Fragmented biopsy pieces are not indicative of  the whole specimen and needs to be followed  in 3-5 years anyway

Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the report indicates that there was no abnormality in the tissue submitted for examination.

Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Specific vs general: A colon polyp is a more specific type of a colon lesion. A colon lesion can be any type of colon abnormality including cancer, polyp, ulcer, atrophy, avm, etc.

there is a 2 cm villous lesion on my right colon. 3 pc. biopsy shows no dysplasia but it's a tad hard. dr. didn't try to lift it during the colonoscopy but scheduled a 3-4 inch resection late may. thoughts on what lurks beneath?

Pre-cancerous: Villous lesions in the colon are considered pre-cancerous and your doctor is correct in advising resection of the lesion.

Possibly: However, the adjacent liver have variable uptake of the PET agent.  This could be a normal area of liver or a non-cancerous nodule.  Without seeing the images and comparing them to prior studies, I cannot really make an assessment.
