Pimple: That is most likely skin inflammation resulted from the "pimple". Usually that will go away.  A picture of the lesion would help

Skin: It may be due to folliculitis which is caused by a bacterial called Staph. If the bumps are painful then you may need antibiotic. 
Sometimes you may have ingrown hair because of shaving which is not painful.

I : I can understand your concern.  As this has occurred more than once, please have this evaluated.  It sounds like an infectious area such as a small area of a skin infection, but this should be tested and a wound culture taken.  It is extremely unlikely that it is cancer, but if you have risk factors and depending on your age it is always wise to get a mammogram. Please see your doctor for evaluation.  If you have increased pain, fever, feel flu-like, or have red streaks or increased redness from the area then you must be seen immediately.

Dermatological eval: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination &amp; other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.

Bumps: It would be easy to tell if they could be examined. They might represent milia due to the skin healing over the pores you will have to have a doctor look at them to be sure.

Size: Small bumps are more likely to be harmless.  It does, however, sound as if you are worried.  Suggest you have your regular doctor take a look.

Infection?: Not sure what the original cause might be- insect bite? ingrown hair follicle? dermal cyst? The changes now suggest the area is infected.  Warm compresses and an antibiotic ointment of cream used frequently may help.  If you have fever or chills, or the pain and redness continue to grow, you should definitely see a doctor.

Scientific Rx: Acne on the trunk almost always requires systemic rx. One start may be tetracycline 500 2x/day plus topical benzoyl peroxide. If this doesn't work, a dermatologist has isotretinoin. Acne is not related to diet, lifestyle, or hygiene, whatever anybody else may tell you.

i have a pimple type bump on my chest for going on 5 years now its a pimple type bump but it kinda looks like a scar its squishy like there is liquid in it but painless and every attempt to squeeze it weilds only clear liquid, what could it be?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  If it has not changed in 5 years, you may watch and wait and talk to your doctor next time you see her/him. If it bleeds, ulcerates or a bigger nodule forms it would be prudent to see a doctor.
