i have been diagnosed with pharyngitis, tb: zocef 500, sinarest and movace. movace gave me rashes/allergy, was told to discontinue that, since then only the rashes marks remain, is it normal?

It's possible: An elevated IgE level is most commonly linked to allergies, whether environmental or otherwise. Environmental allergies could lead to pharyngitis, as that is a common allergy-related symptom. GERD can also cause a painful throat, due to chronic acid exposure. In either case, chronic damage can lead to the presence of blood and/or mucous. Of course large amounts of blood are abnormal.

if you have really bad allergies and start blowing out and coughing up green snot can that be a sinus infection or pharyngitis i am prone to sinus infections just don't know if a sinus infection or pharyngitis can have green snot?

: Green snot is common when you have a cold with upper respiratory infection, not from allergy. You do not need antibiotic if there is no significant sinus pain with high fever. Sore throat is the main symptom of pharyngitis, not green snot. Take care.

are nosebleeds common with a sinus infection or allergies? currently taking amoxicillin for acute pharyngitis. the pain is less but nosebleeds remain.

Maybe: Your nosebleeds are being caused by your post nasal drip which is accompanying you sinus infection or your runny nose. The mucus is eroding the blood vessels in your nose causing it to bleed.

i have recently been diagnosed with chronic pharyngitis due to silent reflux, allergies and post nasal drip. i have persistent sore throat/larynx irritation. what is the outlook/how should i manage it?i used to smoke 1 cigar/day for 3.5 years, quit?

: Not to worry.  Very common problem.  Avoid known triggers like eating too late at night and consider something like a sinus rinse.  Some people will use an H2 blocker or other medication to improve if severe.

can we move a cancerous cervical lymph node when we touch it ? i have a lump under my jaw about 2cm, movable, since 2.5 weeks. my ent told me it's pharyngitis + other causes like mite allergy and smoking daily. weird feeling in throat but 0 symptoms?

: Yes, cancerous lymph nodes would be movable when you hold and move them.
You node(2cm) is fairly large. Check its size over the next 1-3 months. If it getting bigger you should go back to your doctor for a recheck.

Yes: Throat infections such as strep throat, and upper respiratory infections such as the common cold, are very common and affect everyone, including people taking allergy shots. Taking allergy shots does not prevent a person from catching contagious diseases like throat and nose infections.

Maybe.: Someone needs to look at your voicebox with a fiberoptic scope to make a diagnosis.  Those are all reasonable guesses but you need to look.

Peritonsilar abcess: Peritonsilar abcess, lugwig angina if not treated promptly can compromise your airway and kill you. You'l l  kow because you will start drooling, have difficulty swallowing (not just sore throat), your voice may change (gooffy voice), may try to strech your neck in order to get air. Cal 911  if having any of these symptoms.
