: Asking the same question multiple times will not change the answer. Get a HIV nucleic acid test at 6 and 12 months after exposure.

Depends on your age: In teens or perimenopausal females, menstrual cycles can be irregular because of fluctuating hormone levels. If you are in neither of these groups, causes include: starting or stopping oral contraceptives, STD's, infections, stress, increased/decreased weight, drugs or meds. Make sure to mention this to your Dr if it persists. Exam and testing can allow the Dr to treat any underlying conditions.

in dec 2019 i inserted the copper t ring 6 weeks after my caesarean. thereafter my periods have been heavy and just come at random. before the copper t i had a very light flow. i also have a lot of spotting or it lasts longer than 7 days. ?

Flow : can get heavier with Copper IUD, this may continue, and if so, may require changing to a different type such as Mirena IUD.

Your heavy period and the change in frequency so suddenly suggest some problems that should be evaluated . Start keeping track of your bleeding days and see your gynecologist. You may have a hormonal imbalance, such as a thyroid problem.

It's a concern but: ...not necessarily an emergency   Prolonged &amp; repeatedly heavy periods can lead to anemia.  They can also be a sign of hormonal imbalance like thyroid problems or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Unless you're feeling weak or faint or bleeding is so severe than you soak thru your tampon or pad hourly, you can make an appt. with your Gyn or primary care doctor who can evaluate &amp; treat you.

Dysfunctional bleed: What you describe is defined as dysfunctional uterine bleeding and needs an evaluation to determine the cause. You will need a detailed h&p, possibly an us, and most likely an endometrial bx.  There are many possible causes for this: hormonal changes, ovarian cyst, fibroid uterus, adenomyosis, pre-cancer or cancer of the uterus.Lease see your gyn form an evaluation.
