They can also be a sign of hormonal imbalance like thyroid problems or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Unless you're feeling weak or faint or bleeding is so severe than you soak thru your tampon or pad hourly, you can make an appt. with your Gyn or primary care doctor who can evaluate & treat you.
