i feel a small pea size movable lump a bit above my adams apple and it moves when i press it
no other symptoms

Lump on neck: It's probably a lymph node. Usually if they move easily, they are not worrisome. The lymph nodes in the neck are close to the skin surface and are easy to feel. Reasons to see a doctor would be if it keeps getting larger, if it gets red and tender, if you get night sweats or weight loss. If you smoke, stop!

Anatomy: It may be normal anatomy of the larynx (voice box) , lymph nodes or a pathological condition. Please see your physician for an appropriate exam.

hi, i have a non-visibile lump that is no more than the size of a pea, about an inch or less above my adams apple. it is a little to the right as well. i've noticed for at least a year most likely been around longer. no symptoms. 30 yrs. moveable?

: Can be a thyroglossal duct cyst, lymph node, aberrant thyroid tissue. Get an ultrasound. Biopsy if suspicious.

Neck Lumps: Given your history of acne, these may simply be cysts associated with the undersurface of the skin, or small lymph nodes related to the irritation from the acne itself. If they don't go away, they should be evaluated by a doctor.

Maybe reactive nodes: This sounds like reactive lymph nodes. Do you have acne? Sometimes in people with skin problems and skin infections the lymph nodes in the neck will swell. You should discuss this with your doctor or see and ENT doctor for an evaluation.

Cyst: If it is midline, then it could be a  thryoglossal duct cyst which can form from remnants of fetal development of the thryoid gland, and anywhere there are hair follicles/oil glands a sebaceous cyst can form.  If it is not midline, then consider a swollen lymph node or even salivary gland.    Can't be sure without an exam.

Lump on larynx: It may be a lymph node but  it should still be  checked out. Do you have  a lot of allergies?  sore throat ? May also be  related to thyroid gland so would f/u/ w/ doc

my 14 yr old so. has a. marble size hard immovable lump just above his adams apple to the left.  it has been there for 3 months and he doesn't think it has grown.  it is not painful.  should i continue to wait or get him in immediately?

None: Does the lump move when he sticks his tongue out of his Mouth?  If the lump moves, a Thyroglossal cyst is possible. does your son have any fever or weight loss for the last three weeks? I would recommend an ultrasound of his neck and the lawn next week.  complete blood count with differential and and lab work for thyroid studies would be helpful. warm compress over lump for 20 minutes - 3 times/d

Submental lymph node: Most likely associated with your recent upper respiratory infection. See your doctor if this becomes larger or more tender.

Lymph node: It may be a lymph node. Or a normal anatomical structure like the hyoid bone. Best solution is to see an ENT surgeon to make sure it's ok.
