Comorbidity: Fibromyalgia is more common among migraineurs than in the general population. Many questions about migraine and FM pathophysiology remain unanswered, and this explain the difficulty of a therapeutic approach and management.. Both disorders need more research and clinical trials.

Accepted Answer

Normal: your breasts are composed of a collection of glands that are supported by fibers, and so this finding is not concerning. Depending on your cycle your breast tissue becomes more prominent and this was likely what was captured. As long as there are no calcifications, I would be reassured.

The : The criteria for fibromyalgia requiere you to have three month of symptoms , so before we discuss if its going to be life time , we need to meet the criteria, so if after we review the crietria and you have fibromyalgia. The duracion of the disease is very variable and it has to do with multiple factors and attitudes towards therapy. It is difficult to guess how long it will last , but try to just follow te measures to be better and as it goes in time you will realize what will be the duration , it might last less than what you had calculated.

Not serious: Some women have nodules / cysts in their breasts.  If there were cancerous characteristics to anything on the mammogram the radiologist would have noted that.  There is no evidence that benign fibroglandular areas of the breast are at more risk for turning into cancer.  Rest easy!

is walking good for me if i have fibromyalgia that results in shoulders cramps.and what is the range per week ? i walk for two hours 3days a week.?

Great: That amount is great.  If you are not have any other symptoms like leg pain or chest pain.  You may want to try some stretching exercises.  Consider a session with a personal trainer to get some pointers.  Many people forget about the benefits of stretching and light weight training.

i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 1year ago.i took effexor (venlafaxine) &lyrica 75mg a day .two weeks ago i stopped taking medicine.i feel ok without it.shall i do?

Sit tight: If you are doing well and suffered no ill effects from the sudden stoppage of your meds then simply stay off of them and see how you do.

Type 1 density: if u have type 3 or 4 density its much harder to detect cancer.  51 or 75 %to 75  or greater then 75% is harder to detect cancer.

Fibromyalgia: To be included in the diagnosis of FM, this pain should be located in at least three out of four quadrants of the body or along the entire spine, and must be present for a minimum of three months. Patients with FM have diffuse chronic pain without evidence of any systemic disorder. Neurological examination is normal, objective muscle weakness is not present and laboratory evaluation is normal.

Increased incidence: There is an increased incidence of fibromyalgia in people with autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.

Ingestion-no: Not by ingestion, but if infection with this organism - rare but possibly.
