Neurologist: A neurologist is best to evaluate the white matter changes in your brain and neck ct scans and interpret them in light of your neurological symptoms and examination. A brain MRI may give more information. Concern would be for a condition like multiple sclerosis.

Many possibilities: A nerve may be pinched in the back by a disc or arthritis, or in the groin  (by heavy belts or by being overweight), or other cause. Ask your doctor for an exam, especially if you have weakness or any incontinence.

Neuropathy: You may have a pinched nerve in the back or may be developing neuropathy, if you are not able to stand on it because you feel weak then you need to see your pcp quick.

wednesday while walking i twisted my knee inward and since then it hurts on its outside part. sometimes i feel partial numbness in my forefoot. the pain improves temporarily after knee exercises. what would you recommend?

Neurapraxia: Neurapraxia is the mildest form of crush injury to a nerve, where the axon and myelin sheath are still intact. The transient reduction of blood flow from repeated crush injury (i.e. Kneeling for over an hour) leads to loss of sensory +/- motor function, which may take up to 8 weeks to completely recover, but happens earlier in most cases. The sensation will come back, give it time to heal.

what is a solution to withdrawal insomnia from zyprexa and geodon (ziprasidone)? also my leg muscles are tingly and partially numb, don't recover fast and are weak

i have had a partially numb lower leg for 4 weeks i had blood tests and everything was fine except for slight inflammation. i also cant lift my foot or toe up. spine mri booked - but i am only 21 so i am very concerned and hoping for some insights?

: You describe a classic foot drop.  Most often these are caused by a peroneal neuropathy,  but may also be due to low back discogenic compression of the  L5 nerve root.  An  EMG/ NCV study could distinguish the two causes.

good day, i have had lower back pain for years and recently my neck started giving me problems. my left hand/arm is partially numb and my left leg is starting. mri show bulging disks and nerver irritation however neurosurgeon gave me clonazepam????

Spine pain /abn MRI: Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine  - which can relax muscles., For severe pain/spasm  Valium/ diazepam is sometimes given . But  more information is needed like the degree of bulge/location..  Would also consider EMG/NCS that can tell if and how severe  nerve function is affected which would correlate with  "numbness" . Discuss PT(physical  therapy) / traction. F/u/w/ neurology

Miscellaneous: Is this intermittent?  Maybe crossing your legs, or being on your feet for a while, or prolongation on a toilet seat, results in transient reversible numbness?  If overweight or wearing tight belts, can compress a nerve on the thigh.  Foot numbness maybe due to nerve pinching at the ankle.  If persistent, and/or progressive, see your physician.

Pain and numbness : Numbness is a reflection that a nerve can be involved. This can be a peripheral nerve or nerves or a pinching in your leg from a disc in your back (or something else doing the pinching). In more uncommon cases poisons such as alcohol, lead, solvents, mercury, arsenic can do it. 
Rare genetic conditions can cause it. Most cases are due to low back problems or diabetes.
