Hard to speculate: Without access to his medical records and a recent in person evaluation It would be hard for anyone to speculate. He could as easily pass from old age before cancer took its tole. This is a question best answered by his treatment team who has the relevant information.

Average at 5 years: Is 10- 15 %. It depends on the pathology. What was the final stage, and nodal status? These things will help give and outcome and life span guess. Remember all the information is an estimate.
I would review the path report with the surgeon to get a better idea for an individual.

Depends on type: For pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors treated with surgery, the 5 year survival rate is ~15%. For exocrine pancreatic tumors, unfortunately, the 5 year survival rate is about 1%. These numbers come from the national cancer data base based on patients treated between 1992 and 1998. Thus, the survival rates may be higher now.

since 2017 - appendix cancer; severe pancreatitis; addisons disease; 3rd stage kidney failure; cirrhosis of the liver; septic shock w/adrenal insufficiency. and again sepsis w/adrenal insufficiency. only specialists see me. any recommendations?

: It is not healthy for you to worry yourself over this issue, but normal healthy concern should be followed up with a request for an appointment to see your doctor as soon as possible.  Pain is always a warning sign so do take care of it now.

hi, this is probably me being over concerned but recently i've noticed 2 or 3 yellow patches of skin on my legs and its making me nervous. liver failure but i don't drink excessively. pancreatic cancer? should i be worried?

See your doc: It's tough to diagnose skin problems with words... it's best to see them in person.  Is there a chance that these are areas where you could have bruises?  Bruises can appear yellow.  Hope this helps!

due to kidney stones i have had 2 ultrasounds, 2 ct's and 1 mri w/contrast in past year.  if i had pancreatic cancer would one of these picked it up?

Whether the: CTs or MRI you had would be sensitive in detecting a small pancreatic cancer would depend on the technical parameters of the scans, so without additional information it is difficult to say.  Large tumors would not be missed, small tumors might not be detectable if the scan was tailored for other purposes.

: Unlikely, but unfortunately always possible. Tissue diagnosis is always needed for such cases in order to treat properly.

Worrisome info: This might seem a logical next step.Yet the presence of a lesion in the liver means the cancer has probably sent tiny seeds for more tumors to additional sites throughout the body. These may not show for weeks or months, but this  may be their reason.
