Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts.  If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain.  My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx.  Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed.

treated for lupus.now getting intermittent tingling in my upper buttocks and sometimes feet. throbbing legs at times. no back pain or back issues. ?

Tingling: Intermittent tingling is not uncommon.  If it resolves with a position change, it may be benign.  If you think your nerves are more "sensitive" or "irritable" - ie tingling unusually more than normal, check with your rheumatologist who could run some blood work to quantify if the lupus is active.  Some meds can affect this.

have numbness in both outter sides of big toes. have mild reynaud's but nvr in feet & . no lower back pain & blood sugar good?

Could be many things: Recommend evaluation by a neurologist. Could be numerous problems.

: Not feasible to be precise herein, but you clearly describe a polyneuropathy which needs full evaluation.  The lump, needs dermatology consultation.  Your back may benefit from physical therapy.  A lot to address.  Get busy with your doctor.

i have severe lower back pain that comes in waves. it starts in my lower  back and then to the bottom of my butt then to my foot. what can i do?

Probably sciatica: Better to get checked as can be disc prolapse but more likely if pain is not severe.

Variable: UT back pain would be common.
Radiating discomfort to one or both legs is possible.
Burning is frequently neuropathic as well.

Tough one : This is a difficult one to answer due to the shear number of symptoms, not all of which are necessarily related, and unanswered questions. The best doctor to begin with is a board certified internal medicine physician to get a full work up.

Lumbar radiculopathy: You are describing a pinched nerve in to low back that is compressing either the left L5 or S1 nerve root. The pain comes and goes based on position. In addition to the medications that you are taking, physical therapy and/or chiropractic care can help relieve the pain. A selective nerve block or epidural steroid injection can provide relief too. You may also receive a TENS unit for home use.
