Could be: If you have cough with production of sputum accompanied by chest pain could be many things among them bronchitis being one . Other possibilities are pneumonia , self limiting upper respiratory tract infection . The list is long . If the symptom persists , the best thing to do is to see your pcp.

NSAIDs and rest: Sounds like you strained a muscle between your ribs. If you have no problems with your stomach and kidneys, take an anti-inflammatory such as aleve (naproxen) with food. Also, if you have to cough or take a deep breath, hug a pillow to avoid excessive motion in your ribs. Avoid exertion as this will also stress your ribs and the muscles in between.

Right rib cage pain: Could be gallbladder, check sonongram or liver . has been seen with lung pathology like pneumonia  or may be inflammation of pleura the membrane covering  organs(lung,heart), rarely lesion or autoimmune. Check liver function tests, sonogram, CXR. f/u  w/doc /urgent  care.
