No: They are not normal. Speak with your doctor and ask about possible causes. If the WBC remains high consider a consultation with a hematologist. It does appear to be resolving so you may just want to repeat the count again in a month before considering other options.

Inflammation: It is a reactive process as a result of infection or inflammation. Since it fluctuates up or down this is normal and okay. You may have some underlining inflammatory process or autoimmune disorder.

my wbc count came back low 2.7, monocytes high (19.9) i have been having joint and body pain with headaches on and off for a month...concern?

Could be mono: The combination of leukopenia (low white blood cell count) and monocytosis (high monocytes count) is suggestive of a viral infection (Epstein Barr) called mononucleosis.  Mononucleosis can cause fatigue, muscle and joint aches, headache,  sore throat and rarely enlargement of the spleen.  Symptoms  can last for weeks, but usually it does not cause any significant long-term effects.

my husband, 33, has high wbc count, enlarged lymph nodes, side pain, and fatigue. dr keeps having him come back to check wbc, anything else to check?

Depends on concern..: The most common cause of what you describe is an infection. If rarer, more serious things need to be ruled out because the symptoms are not quite fitting, then there are more specialized (though somewhat invasive) tests to look for a leukemia or lymphoma. Performing a biopsy of an enlarged lymph node, or a bone marrow biopsy can help rule out cancer. I hope he feels better soon.

Any number: Of things can cause these symptoms, outside of the urinary tract.  Some examples are pelvic infection, abscess, or tumor.  Have it checked out.

: If heart rate is often above 100 bpm then you can't say it normal. Etiology of tachycardia which I assume sinus tachycardia should be looked for. Persistent tachycardia for a long time may cause tachycardia induced cardiomyopathy so if there is no definite etiology, your heart rate should be controlled with med. WBC &amp; differential are abnormal which also needs to be monitored +/- investigated.

i have extremely itchy wrists and back of hands. also, my wbc count is elevated. could these symptoms be related?

Unlikely: If the WBC is related, you would more likely have a generalized skin issue.  The wrist and hand itching are more likely related to contact to a contact allergen or irritant especially in occupational setting (also frequent hand washing).   See dermatologist if problem persists.

i was sent to a hematologist due to mildly elevated wbc at 11. no symptoms and my wbc count has been elevated at 11 for many years. flow cytometry test came back negative but wbc was still elevated. does that mean no blood cancer cells found?

: Mildly high white cell count (persistently mild leukocytosis) is quite common and I have several patients with this condition. Some medications can be the cause of this condition which is benign.
No you do not have blood cancer especially this finding has been present for years.

Wbc: This WBC   count is mildly elevated. WBC  counts rise to this level temporality often due to infections such as the flu, colds or bronchitis. There are medications that can raise the WBC count like steroids. There are also serious health issues that cause this  WBC count to this level, but they are usually not temporary. More information is needed to relate this to you. You should talk to your GP.
