Follows a rib: That's a pretty good description! it's following an intercostal muscle or rib. You may have costochonditis (rheumatism of the joint where the rib attaches to the breatbone). You may have intercostal neuritis. If a rash appears, it could even be shingles. Has there been any minor trauma or lifting?

Musculoskeletal: Anything that hurts worse with movement is usually in the muscles or joints.  This could be a rib strain or costochondritis.  Either way, an anti-inflammatory (advil (ibuprofen) or aleve) may help.

sneezed 3 times in row, heavy burning pain left side of abdominal,  had full abdominal mesh repair surgery 7 weeks ago. (ventral -sternum to pubic)?

Could be worriesome: Are you having any nausea or vomiting?  Any areas of the abdomen bulging out again?  It could be that you just "tweaked" scar tissue from the sneezing and that no damage was done.  It is also possible that the adhesion between mesh and tissue came loose.  I would monitor yourself - if pain persists, if there is nausea / vomiting or fever, see your surgeon.

pins & needles left foot, pain left side: bum cheek, hip, outer thigh, outer calf, very bad left ankle & slightly puffy under outer bone. been 6 weeks or so, but getting worse, to the point of crying & i don't usually get emotional with pain. ideas?

Pop goes the Cart...: It sounds like  a pretty good description of pain from the area of the cartilaginous junction between the ribs and the breastbone. This type of pain can come and go for seemingly no apparent reason, although twisting movements could be a contributing factor. Although medical treatment is not generally necessary, if concerns arise, a consultation with a specialist might allay your fears.

Stop Playing around.: Sounds like there's a whole lot going on here. Any one of the areas of pain could be the problem and compensation causing the rest. 
Could be soft tissue or bone or both. Your best bet is to have it examined to eliminate the possibilities. My guess is that you will need a cam walker of stabilize the foot for a while.

: The left sided headache symptoms described could be due to a number of conditions of which Migraine or left sided Trigeminal neuralgia seem prominent. The PCP can help but one may need to see the Neurologist as well.

Possibilities..: "stabbing" pain sounds pretty severe. So, my threshold for asking you to see an md is  low. That said, structures around/near the area you describe are: muscles (small, easy-to-injure ones), bone, small ligaments, lung (pain "referred" to the surface from deeper structures), blood vessels (unlikely pain source), and nerves (originating from the neck area and innervating muscles you describe).

Kidneys?: The region you describe is the left kidney.  If were a kidney stone you would likely have commented on a very intense pain.  Fever and feeling sick would be aroused by kidney infection.  Again the pain can be severe and induce an er visit.  You probably have a back muscle strain and spasm.

Is it old or new?: There are many potential causes of chest pain, from musculoskeletal to respiratory to cardiac/heart, among others. Without a complete history &amp; exam, it's impossible to determine the cause of your chest pain. You should make an appointment w/ your primary physician to determine what testing or treatment is needed. IF IT'S NEW CHEST PAIN WITH EXERTION, YOU SHOULD GO TO THE CLOSEST ER IMMEDIATELY.
