Many causes!: Most worrisome would be heart issues, followed by pleurisy and  other lung problems.  It also could be a rib issue, or a muscle issue. See your doc  asap!

Based on your description, I suspect your chest pain is most likely from muscle strain from severe coughing. See your doctor: Your symptoms may be signs of something significantly wrong.  One cannot tell without a complete history, physical and possible lab/imaging tests.  Follow with your doctor as soon as you can.  Things that can cause pains in chest and ribcage include heartburn, pneumonia, gallbladder problems, liver disease, kidney problems, heart attacks, or blood clots.

Pleurisy?: Discomfort in the chest that worsens with a deep breath is called pleuritic pain or pleurisy.  
This is often due to some inflammation of the lining around the lungs or the sac around the heart.  Often it is due to a virus and will get better without treatment.
However it could be something more serious condition with the lungs or chest and if it continues or worsens, see your doctor.

he suggested few test.
i have done 2 of them
ecg -- normal
troponin i -- normal?

Cardiac: So far your workup was focused around ruling in or out an acute cardiac event and that was ruled out with above tests. The combination of detailed history and a focused physical exam should result in further leads as to what might be causing your symptoms. Besides your heart, lung and musculoskeletal possible causes will be considered.

Not unless: you had a gastric bypass or delayed gastric emptying or some other gastric shortening surgery.  Likely you are experiencing a severe case if gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD.  You may have a hiatal hernia or an incompetent GE sphincter.  You should see surgeon or GI Doctor

See a  cardiologist: At your age you should not be experiencing chest pain.  Your heart is on the left side.  Chest pain with exertion is a potential sign of angina.  Which could be from the blockage of the vessels that supply your heart.  
Make an appointment with your internist or cardiologist and have an ekgf and echocardiagram done.

Rib Pain: Ribs can crack with laughing and bear hugs, etc. Pain is increased with breathing and very local and sharp with pressure. If so, get and x-ray.  Tender ribs can be Tietze Syndrome which is a tenderness in the cartilaginous part of the rib and can last months. It is exacerbated by rubbing or touching. In that case HANDS OFF! and take some Aleve (naproxen). It will pass.
