Not unless: you had a gastric bypass or delayed gastric emptying or some other gastric shortening surgery. Likely you are experiencing a severe case if gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD. You may have a hiatal hernia or an incompetent GE sphincter. You should see surgeon or GI Doctor
