for 3 days i have been getting pain in the front left side of my head. the pressure is sporadic and painful its only in one specific spot. aleeve doesn't work. what do i do?

Sinus pain: Sounds like sinus pressure.  This could be from an acute viral infection or other causes of rhinitis or sinusitis that can be protracted in nature (review these categories in the HealthTap library).  OTC Afrin is a good nasal decongestant that can improve sinus drainage and relieve pressure in the short term.  Do NOT use for more than a couple of days and read the label. Saline irrigation too.

Headache: Greetings. This headache may be a migraine, tension or possibly from frontal sinus pressure. Questions your doctor might ask would be, do you get an aura or awareness of an impending headache? Does it resolve with sleep or darkness? Nasal congestion? Excess stress? Fever? Discolored mucus? See your doctor who will help diagnose and treat these headaches.

Hx of migraines?: If you have a history of migraines, then apparently they've gotten worse. If you have never had migraines before, you have them now - IF these are in fact migraines. See your doctor.

Refractory migraine: For a refractory migraine, it is a good idea to consider if it is really a migraine, and to seek some management other than butabital- since this medicine wears off after a few hours.  Sometimes simple remedies such as diet changes or magnesium supplements can help too.

i am having headaches, i am diabetic and have congestive heart failure . headache starts on left side of head, and goes to the front. ?

Poss unrelated CHF: This could be just a garder variety headach i.e. Related to vision change, tooth problem, or general exhaustion / lack of sleep. Also, too good of a control of blood sugar may cause headach (hypoglycemic headach). Make sure you have no low sugar and or any of the above. Otc Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen (not on empty stomach) should help. Otherwise, may need be seen by a doctor for more detailed eval.

Seek evaluation: There could be many reasons for the symptoms you are describing.  If they are persisting you need to be evaluated sooner rather than waiting.  Recognizing that you are worried about a possible brain tumor, please know that there could be many simpler explanations, but the only way to be reassured about that is to see your doctor.  They will decide about appropriate tests.

Hard to tell without other symptoms: symptoms of your headache sounds hard to distinguish and pinpoint without further history of the matter.  if this is becoming chronic and not typical of your migraine, please consult your primary.
