Migraine, ie painful: pulse of the meningeal arteries & also often intracerebral (within the brain) arteries (producing the so called aura symptoms), commonly exhibit many variations in symptoms experienced by those who exhibit these behaviors. Many variations in symptoms & severity are quite common & emotional states (eg during sleep/dreams) often play a major triggering role.
