i used monistat 1-day ovule for yeast infection. three days later i put in my nuvaring. is that safe? will the monistat ovule have dissolved by now? will the ovule affect the nuvaring in any way?

No interaction: There is no interaction between the medicated antifungal ovules and your hormonal NuvaRing. You should avoid sexual intercourse until your infection is completely cleared as recurrence can occur.

i recently took monistat 3 ovule for a yeast infection i have. i an experiencing yellow clumpy discharge is this normal? i'm only on day 1

Maybe not yeast: Did you self diagnose your yeast infection? Yeast doesn't normally cause colored (yellow) discharge. Colored discharge usually is due to other infections, including STDs if at risk. However, if you also have itching and irritation, yeast is still a good bet. If in doubt, see doctor, and for sure if symptoms don't clear up entirely after a few days of Monistat.

Topical treatment: Ovules contain active medication that is released when the ovule melts at body temperature.  The medication then acts directly on the vaginal wall as a topical route of delivering the antifungal (yeast) medication.

See doctor: You may use any of the over the counter medications. However, developing yeast infection at your age, even if you are sexually active, warrants being  checked for other health issues, especially diabetes. It would be prudent to see your doctor. If you are sexually active use contraceptive all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Vaginal spotting: Sounds like you may be having some menstrual spotting if it is in between your periods. Those yeast creams are usually white, so if you get some bleeding, it will look pale orange or pink mixed with the cream. If your symptoms don't clear up, see a doctor.

Yes it is: It is normal as the monistst dissolves and there may be some mild trauma to the vaginal wall
