Poor: When one finds metastasis to multiple sites from  a primary colon cancer the lesion was probably detected late in its development.  If the patient is in good condition the primary if not resected should be removed.  Chemo with FOLFOX and possibly avastin (bevacizumab) should be attempted.  Kidney lesions are extremely rare but can respond to chemo and if causing complication should be resected.

Depends: Staging of wall involved, lymph nodes involved
distant metastases involved.

Location, stage, response to surgery and therapy can do a good job and get good survival!

You need a workup!: Colon cancer is rare indeed at age 22. So you need an evaluation for your poor appetite--many possibilities, would depend on a physical exam and other heath history. This sounds like a situation where you need a f2f visit!

No: The commonest cause of painless rectal bleeding in a young individual is internal hemorrhoids. You should see your pcp who can do proctodscopy and see if the hemorrhoids are bleeding. He can then decide whether you need colonoscopy or a colorectal surgeon for treatment of bleeding hemorrhoids.

Depends: Depends on familial risks of  colon cancer and any inherited disorders linked to the possibility of colon cancer such as polyposis conditions. Generally, risks of colon cancer are higher after age 50. A cleveland clinic site states that less than 2% of colon cancer occurs under age 40. Even less common to have colon cancer in age 30's or younger.
