Skull fracture: Occipital bone referring to the base of the skull fracture and extending into the condyle.  Most fratcure of the skull are evaulated for depression into the brain.  After 3 months if you have a skull fracture and no treatment has been required then your doctor will most likely continue observation.  Follwo the disharge instructions your trauma doctor or hospital gave you.  Bring a friend to help.

Could be anything from simple immobilization with a splint or cast to requiring reduction of the fracture fragments under anesthesia or possibly open surgical procedure and possibly fixation with plates, pins, or screws. One might also need to address associated injuries such as ligament, tendon, nerve and blood vessel.
