How can you treat a bone fracture?

Depends: One would need to know more. Could be anything from simple immobilization with a splint or cast to requiring reduction of the fracture fragments under anesthesia or possibly open surgical procedure and possibly fixation with plates, pins, or screws. One might also need to address associated injuries such as ligament, tendon, nerve and blood vessel.

Fracture!: The treatment depends on the location and nature of the fracture. Some are treated with casts and braces. Others may require surgery. Some may heal without treatment.

Bone fracture: Agree with dr wint. May need splint, cast, surgery, time. Each fracture & each fracture pattern gas it's own unique personality. Open vs closed, intra vs extraarticular, high vs low energy--all make a difference.
