It's a complex-: -process but it is essentially: bone breaks, body realizes it, a process of removing debris & blood from the fracture, inflammatory reaction takes place & various cells do there thing and fibrous lattice is formed stem cells enter and form bone in this structure. Also blood supply is in the mix, from periosteum, it matures & bone healed. It's a genetically programmed response.
