Tremor causes: Include: medications, essential tremor, medical conditions like hyperthyroidism, degenerative neurological conditions - of which Parkinson’s is one.  Many conditions are inherited but not autosomal dominant.  If one parent has it does not mean you will inherit it too but you may have increased risk.

Many: The differential diagnosis for tremor is quite large, i.e. there are many possible causes, ranging from too much caffeine, to anxiety, to a host of neurological disorders. See your primary care doctor and if he/she can't figure it out, ask for a referral to a neurologist.

Nettles: Histamine release = pain. Wash the skin with soap & water. Make a paste of baking soda and water (sticky consistency) and spread over the affected area. In a pinch you can spit on the affected area because saliva can neutralize the chemical irritants. In the woods – apply mud to the area.  Curly dock can also be rubbed on the area.

There are medical conditions that can cause tremor, including essential tremor, hyperthyroidism, or various neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Rhythmic shaking while holding utensils are likely essential tremor.
