what doctor should i see about a roundish semi-soft lump under the skin just below the earlobe behind the jaw? noticed it 3 days ago, and thought it was a non-itchy bug bite. it seems bigger now, and the area around there is achy. no other symptoms?

: See a skin specialist (Dermatologist) for initial evaluation.   The skin specialist may biopsy it, remove it completely or refer you to ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat specialist).

how should i treat my big itchy bug bites?

See below: Antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (oral or topical creams) will hep reduce the itch as will Hydrocortisone 1% (cortaid).  Also, as hard as it is, try to resist itching the areas.

i have multiple bug bites from over a week ago. reddish, 2-3 inches in diameter. not itchy, no other symptoms. 
i have another bite that i did not scratch and it went away. i was wondering if i made it worse by scratching. ?

Avoid scratching: In order to help your bites heal I would avoid scratching. Your nails are dirty as well and puts you at risk for skin infection. Take OTC antihistamines to help with itch symptoms if applicable and apply OTC hydrocortisone cream to areas that are affected to reduce symptoms. See primary doctor if bites look infected.

Nothing: really bad. SEE your doctor/ dermatology-fairly common problem, can't do much about it.

Insect sensitivity: You are hypersensitive to something introduced into the bite (like saliva) whereas the roommate is not, unlikely they are not getting bit. Fleas? Bed bugs? Mites/chiggers? If unknown, have an exterminator check it out. If no bugs identified, you could have chronic hives, or another kind of rash, for another reason. Dermatologist or Allergist can help define problem. Using daily cetirizine may help

Could be the bug: or otherwise, something you are allergic to, or urticaria, you can try an antihistaminic OTC, but be careful if driving or operating machinery, and see your doctor if no improvement, you might need prescription medications

They are probably...: Just bug bites.  We have all had them just pop up without knowing what bit us at one time or another.  If they persist or get infected, see a dermatologist.

Moisturise: Apply vasaline or other moisturelsers , avoid scratching and see your primary provider

Yes: I hope the sores are not getting worse. Apply cold pack on them, keep the area clean with soap and water. Apply anti-itch medication (available over the counter). Consult a physician if it does not improve soon.
