Could be the bug: or otherwise, something you are allergic to, or urticaria, you can try an antihistaminic OTC, but be careful if driving or operating machinery, and see your doctor if no improvement, you might need prescription medications

Itchy bites: Try zyrtec (cetirizine) in Am and benedryl at night for bites. Can try topical steroids if not too extensive. if extensive go to urgent care and get steroids also antibiotics if infection. wash all bed linen.clothes .Since it i is extensive would check CMP to get liver, kidney function rarely they can cause itching Also if does not heal get CXR rarely lymphoma.f/u w/doc show them the bug or download pic
