: There are many variables included in calculating surgical risk. It has to do with the possible origin of the liver nodule and the type and goals of surgery, the nodule by itself does not constitute a contraindication to surgery.

Actually it can: Fnh is actually a curious event that begins with something we don't understand in the central blood vessel of the lesion, no matter how big or small. I'd not be surprised. If the radiologist is confident, then i'd urge you to go about your life and not worry about kidney cancer having recurred here.

ct scan of abdomen / pelvis without contrast was unremarkable in june, as was all my liver & kidney & cbc panels in august ... all normal. now i have upper right quadrant discomfort... nothing that hurts but it is annoying. anything i can take?

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Many things: It could be from uterus, ovary, appendix or colon. If you have fever and nausea then that could be appendicitis so you should be seen by a doctor immediately. If the pain is severe then see a doctor as soon as possible to get an exam and testing to sort this out.

Yes: Generally lower back injury causes pain in back going down one or both of leg. But it is possible to injure the abdominal muscles especially if you have twistin force whil bending forward. So the answer is yes . Another reason could be increased abdominal pressur could lead to hernia as well . Hope this helps.

Back pain to groin: Yes. Injury to the back and lower discs may cause pain radiating to the groin/genital region. This is not usually pinched nerve pain, which sends symptoms down the leg and past the knee. So this is called discogenic pain. Rarely, disc problems in the upper lumbar or lower thoracic spine may cause pinched nerve pain to the groin or lower abdomen with associated numbness. Exam is helpful to id.

Many possible causes: Have you had a fever? Have you had nausea or vomiting? Does it hurt more on one side of your abdomen than the other? Does eating make it worse or better? Does it hurt when you jump? Do you have vaginal discharge, or pain with sex?  
These are all questions you should answer to a doctor or NP.  They also will do an exam to help figure out what’s going on
