Need investigation: Lung lesion 1 cm ( some times called coin lesion(s)  ) could be benign or malignant even in non smokers , need further investigation, no matter what ever cause , chemicals will not cause ,  some times even a biopsy , follow your doctors advice.

first biopsy of a solitary nodule in the right lung, close to oblique wall, without cancer cells.  doctor sending me to different respirologist , why?

Need more informatio: Age, tobacco history, where do you live, where have you traveled, any symptoms that led to discovery of the nodule, other medical problems, recent illnesses. What does it look like on the ct, have you had a pet scan.  I could go on for a while, but it sounds like your doc wants a second opinion.  We don't have the benefit of all that information and more to answer your question.

Need to follow up!: It is important to note the shape of these nodules.  If the edges are irregular or " spiculated" that is more worrisome.  Also, the pattern of calcifications is important as well.  These nodules should be followed for stability for 2 years.  If they change or enlarge, they should be biopsied or evaluated for malignancy.  Follow the recommendations of the reading radiologist, or get 2nd opinion.

Follow up scan: what are the size of the tiny nodules to be precise here? if they are so small like a few mm only, there is nothing much you can do at this time anyway as biopsy would likely not be able to be done due to the limited size. No need to worry at this time. people can have scarring or granuloma which can be presented as small lung nodules. You definitely need to get a follow up CT scan to compare them

Needs to monitor: For someone with smoking history, a 9 mm nodule needs to be worked up. You can either biopsy it or follow up with a repeat ct in 3 months. The concern for these nodule is cancer, so please follow up on it.
