Not necessarily: A bite guard, properly made will prevent damage from bruxism, but not change your bite.  Adjustment of your bite may be necessary, but not by the bite guard.

Depends: If appliance is flat plane, it will allow your muscles to go to tonus position and this is where your bite will fit best.  You may need an occlusal equilibration to make the teeth fit together at this relaxed position.

i went to the dentist for a night guard and been told i better get braces bcz my bite is deep. i don't see anything wrong with it. how is that ?

Good advice: Normal overlap between your front  upper and lower teeth  is generally 2-3 millimeters (or less).  Your frequent headaches at age 20 may be due to a misaligned or bad  bite, this greatly concerns me.  The mouth guard will only help with the symptom but not fix the real problem.  See an orthodontist or prosthodontist  for a second opinion, but i think your dentist gave you good advice.

Pain in molars: Need more information. When was the last time you had a dental examination? How long have you had this pain? Is it constant or intermittent? How long have you been using the night guard? 
  Two possibilities come to mind. Either there is a problem with your teeth or the night guard needs to be adjusted.

Probably not cancer: Lip cancers usually do not come on suddenly like that. Probably trauma like you think. However , if the lesion persists for more than two weeks or recurs you should get it checked by your dentist for sure.

Maybe Not: Without knowing what kind of night guard or the specific reason for it, its hard to say for sure. Many times when the teeth aren't allowed to contact, the jaw joint(s) finds a new my comfortable "home", which is not always where the teeth tell it to close. Further treatment may be necessary, but i would advise your dentist and probably give it a little more time. The guard might just not fit, too.

Night guards: Most people wear night guards for a matter of months to years. People do tend to outgrow their tendency to grind their teeth (which is often stress-related), or they just get tired of the appliance. It is actually a good idea every 6 months or so to stop using it for a while, to see if you still need it. (but don't throw it out; you may need it again some time in the future.).
