Have her seen: Babies breath alot more throught their nose than adults and have to less than 6 months old.Get some nasal drops and bulb suction the nose well.if the nose is blocked will not eat or drink but coughs alot.Have her seen but bulb suction first.

: Production of breast milk is enhanced by frequent feeding, every hour or two, especially for the first 2  weeks.  For a successful breastfeeding, mom should  be well relaxed and should take enough fluid.

9 month old arching back crying when i need to wash her or dress her or even put her in a car seat. no flu and nose clear no fever no cough i'm not sure what this can be but shes very uncomfortable. please help?

Behavior issue: Infants have a limited ability to communicate. They learn early when you do most everything they want/need quickly (feeds, attending to cries) that fussing brings results. When you do something they don't agree with they protest the way they know gets attention. I would not assume she is ill or hurts. The behavior will fade if you do what you need to do &amp; fussing does not stop it.

Sounds pretty normal: Infants make a number of odd noises and movements to which you do not need to ascribe motivation or importance. They have no social conscience and do not know that these trouble you. Farting is a new and sometimes startling event to them. They have poor abdominal muscle tone &amp; use their breathing muscle to assist digestion/fussing.

It sounds like it: could be reflux. Gastroesophageal reflux does present like this. Is he spitting up? Has he been bottle feeding since birth, or were you nursing at all? How long has he been doing this. Is he gaining weight appropriately? You should discuss this with his pediatrician, so he can be examined and the proper diagnosis can be made and treatment, if necessary.

: First you must try to find out why the kid is crying. It is the only form of communication they have. Is it aloneness, pain, hunger, illness or just to use their fussing muscles to help push food along the digestive tract. They have weak flabby belly muscles that often must be assisted by their fussing. Some do more than others. If you check them out &amp; do all you can its okay for them to just fuss

Possibly: Really can't tell over the internet. If it seems tender or swollen, or if the baby is fussy, I would have him seen for sure. May want to call the baby's pediatrician and discuss it with him/her.

Temperature: Monitor for fever. His rectal temperature should be less than 100.4 and if it is higher, please see the emergency room. Ensure that he is feeding well and has normal elimination patterns. Discuss the possibility of  colic with your pediatrician.
