Sounds pretty normal: Infants make a number of odd noises and movements to which you do not need to ascribe motivation or importance. They have no social conscience and do not know that these trouble you. Farting is a new and sometimes startling event to them. They have poor abdominal muscle tone & use their breathing muscle to assist digestion/fussing.
