Interesting: From your description and history, yoga was not harmful.  You did not kill a nerve.  Degenerative disc disease in a 26 year old man requires exercise, posture training and review of your lifestyle.  Yoga with an instructor that understands your condition would normally be a good thing.  Breathing properly during postures can change the pressure on  your discs.  Inversion postures recommended.

i have coin size burning or tingling feeling on the right side of my lower back. not sure if it's due to yoga practice. how to treat it?

Watch for Changes: Burning and tingling sensations could mean inflammation around a nerve.  This could be from strained muscles related to yoga.  I suggest you watch for signs of worsening sensation, pain, or the development of a rash.  If that happens see your doctor for further evaluation.

I don't recommend it: You must avoid stress and strain on your spine in order to worsen the disc problem and  protect against precipitating a herniation of the disc. A neurologist or neurosurgeon is best qualified to advise you.

Compression nerve: Somewhere  you are  compressing a nerve  causing a compression neuropathy.  Stay off the floor  and  ask your physiciasn where you are  compressing the  nerve

hi, recently diagnosed with rrms only med is fampyra, i manage the sym with diet & yoga. recently the humidity flared up the sym tingling on my legs and new sym numbness palm of my hands? how long can i continue without med ? thanks?

: Not wise idea to try to handle this without using a Disease  Modifying Medication.  Diet  and Yoga are fine but will not prevent relapses or progressive disability. Would not rely on luck.  Contact  a  neurologist who is experienced in treating MS  patients, and choose a medication ASAP.   Best outcomes for you.

Yes: You will likely need to adjust what you do based on your pain/symptoms, and there may be some positions/activities which you will be unable to do.  If you experience weakness or numbness or bowel/bladder symptoms, you should stop and see a physician.

L5 pinched: You are still young and your only symptom is burning when you run. I would say avoid surgery, get into a good exercise program that avoids running. Surgery should not even be discussed at this time.
