30yrmale.right nerve l5pinched.dont have too much pain but cant run as leg burns.but can bend fully.on yoga now.will it heal or operation only option?

L5 pinched: You are still young and your only symptom is burning when you run. I would say avoid surgery, get into a good exercise program that avoids running. Surgery should not even be discussed at this time.

You can heal: If you are kind to your back and follow your doctors instructions we can hope you have healing of your disc herniation Surgery is the worst option in most cases but you are young and can heal quickly. If your pain does not get better after 6 months you may have to consider some medical treatments such as injections or acupuncture. But I would NOT advise surgery unless you have two doctors that
